Angry at God?
If so, don't feel bad. I have been there before.
Yet sometimes God is justified in not giving us what we want. I say that for a number of reasons.
1. If you got what you want, it might destroy you.
2. When you get what you want, you may not want what you've got.
Often we lust and desperately yearn for something, which once we become more acquainted with we no longer like any more.
3. Your character and skill set may not be developed enough to properly handle what you most want.
I child may want a gun, but if he were to get it there is a strong likelihood he would kill himself.
I recently was shocked to hear of all the recent Toyota recalls on their popular cars and SUVs - particularly the avalon and Rav-4, both of which we nearly bought.
Thankfully the financing and terms were not pleasing to us and some minor contractual details were cause for delay in purchasing these vehicles.
Thank God! Thank God! Thank God we didn't buy Toyota!
Recently a massive recall of tens-of-thousands of these Toyota Avalons and Rav-4s (among other vehicles) has been going on because the gas peddle gets stuck and people cannot stop the vehicle. One man experienced his Toyota accelerating at up to 100 mph and couldn't stop the car when he attempted to put his foot on the brake.
So I say to you my friends who feel discouraged, disappointed and disillusioned - delay is not denial. God remains a good God and is looking out for you, having your best interest at heart.
"Let patience have her perfect work" (James 1:3) and reveal over time the pieces to the puzzle of your life ..."that you may be perfect and entire" [entirely equipped to live a victorious life] and "wanting nothing."
Knowing that when we release what we require, God always fulfills above and beyond our innermost desire (see Ephesian 3:20).
Trust Him!
I nearly married a young lady to whom I was engaged, when suddenly the relationship fell apart and disintegrated.
At the time I was disappointed and disillusioned. Hey, love itself is often nothing more than lust and infatuation coupled with some internal illusions with exhuberant emotions. (More on that later...)
Yet when that young lady left my life, it opened the door for God to bring me the beautiful young lady (way better than the one who left) I am married to today!
Trust God. Go forward. Don't always seek closure on that which you don't understand.
"Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold." (Proverbs 3:13-14)
Make a decision to be happy, work diligently and expect God to work with you to perform miracles everyday!
"Don't be slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises [of God]." (Hebrews 6:12)
As you do, God will show Himself strong to you today!

Health Care Questions for the President
Mr. President, how long will you allow the revolving door between Monsanto, the meat makers, big pharmaceutical companies and the FDA to continue to thwart the intended purpose of the FDA - to protect the American people?
Mr. President we have terrorists on our soil. It's called the FDA who purports to protect we the citizens, but continues to allow chemicals in our food, BPA in the packaging of our food, hormones in our meat and poultry and drugs with deadly side effects to remain available for consumption.
The FDA is a farce. What are you doing to deal with the terrorists within our country? They who genetically modify our seeds, produce, meat, fish, poultry, and pump deadly cancer causing chemicals into the very food we eat. As a President who claims he is interested in health care, when are you going to clean house at the FDA and rid our nation's food supply of the harmful contaminants killing our children, causing learning disabilities and causing us to be the most obese nation on earth?
How long will cow and chicken farmers dump their feces in our waterways, lakes and rivers?
The amount of chlorine needed to kill feces and bacteria in our nation's water supply is simultaneously weakening our own immunity, thwarting our health and causing disease.
What say you Mr. President for health care?

State of the Union - Division and Mis-Direction in the United States
"In this new decade, it's time the American people get a government that matches their decency; that embodies their strength." President Barak Obama
I have the utmost faith in my nation (moreso we the people), but foolishness, lies and fabrications from political parties and gov't agencies I have no respect for.
http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/remarks-president-state-union-address
"It begins with our economy." Pres. Obama - FALSE
It begins with our health. God said in His Word that He "desires above all things that we be in health and prosper" (3 John 1:2).
Without good health no person, family or nation can prosper.
America is the most obese nation on earth. We have childhood diseases, learning disabilities and cancer appearing in people in their 20s and 30s (brain tumors, intestinal cancer, diabetes and other illnesses)as a result of the food we ingest daily.
Why? Because the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is not doing its job allowing food manufacturers to pump food additives, chemicals, steroids, antibiotics and harmful substances such as excitotoxins into the food we as a nation eat.
Secondly the packaging of our food in plastics containing BPA causes breast and prostate cancer. I taught high-school seniors for an entire year and ate at the school cafeteria everyday. Without fail daily every meal was cooked and served in disposable plastic containers, neither good for the human body of our nation's youth nor the environment (as not one plastic container was ever recycled).
So while Americans spend less of their disposable income on food than most industrialized nations, as a consequence they spend more on pharmaceutical drugs, visiting doctors and being hospitalized to care for their malfunctioning bodies.
So we're opting for convenience that causes cancer, cripples and kills us. Such is not a prosperous nation no matter how much fan-fare, flag waving and fabrications are spoken of from the Presidential pulpit.
Thirdly, American intelligence agencies supposedly keeping our borders secure and nation safe have been bought out by the military-industrial-complex and foolishly fabricate information demonizing nations abroad and creating characters such as Bin Laden to keep we the people in fear so they can justify war without end.
Consider one example, a recent fabricated picture the FBI created of a purported Bin Laden, wherein it uses the face of a Latin American man.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article6991299.ece
The military-industrial-complex and American intel agencies fueling their fire and justifying war without end with fabrications and foolishness (such as "slam dunk" intel that preceded the second Iraq war) would do well to reinvent and relocate itself to impoverished, disaster stricken lands like Haiti, Somalia and less oil rich nations that are truly in a state of chaos and in need of their security. By doing so the military could continue to employ its service personnel, but put them to better use in devastated regions of the earth to serve in a security, peacekeeping and humanitarian capacity.
This simultaneously would restore the standing of the United States internationally and serve us well diplomatically.
"Our most urgent task upon taking office was to shore up the same banks that helped cause this crisis." Pres. Obama
Fourthly, our most urgent task, which we failed to perform ...was to stand strong and let the banks go bankrupt so the free market could eliminate those banks gambling with taxpayer dollars. The US gov't and FDIC should have taken over those banks entirely, not foolishly given banks blank checks for lavish vacations and CEO golden parachutes as they sought to escape scandle and bankruptcy.
Washington has always preferred corporate welfare over the general welfare of the American people. This must change! Otherwise expect another American Revolution and civil war with great societal unrest.
"But when I ran for President, I promised I wouldn't just do what was popular..." Pres. Obama
On the contrary Mr. President, you gave in to Wall Street (as did Pres. Bush) giving them a fat check and complied with the warmongers wanting to go into Afghanistan (without first pulling out of Iraq). To your defense Mr. President Afghanistan is a far better war to fight than Iraq. Yet as Senator McCain has said concerning war, "Go hard or go home!
This we should do in relation to Afghanistan - go hard and go into Pakistan, the stronghold of terrorism in the region which feeds Afghanistan. It is a known fact terrorists daily cross the Afghan and Pakistani borders. Why then are we giving Pakistan hundreds of millions of US dollars, but not aggressively entering that nation (where prime ministers are being murdered) to set that country in order and thereby rid Afghanistan of terrorists once and for all simultaneously? Redirect troops from Iraq to fully engage Pakistan and Afghanistan Mr. President.
Most importantly as a matter of national security what about our porous borders that continually are penetrated?
We have terrorists already living on our shores (Dearborn, Michigan is a breeding ground as are other suspicious mosques sprinkled throughout our country). Of course as I mentioned earlier one of the biggest terrorists (and most covert) is the FDA and food manufacturers daily killing us through our food supply.
To sustain economic growth you must make people take responsibility for their future, all of which begins with their own health. Before trying to provide health care to people without charge, let us make sure they have put down their cigarettes and alcohol and begun exercising to show good faith first.
Pull back excessive defense spending and proceed on your noble and most needed initiatives for the country such as:
- rebuilding our infrastructure and modes of transport
- clean-energy initiatives
- improving education
- reforming the corrupt insurance industry
- sealing and safeguarding our borders at home
- protecting the environment (waters and highways - which many litter on daily, especially smokers)
I believe you are the man for the job Mr. President, but you must begin by standing up to corporate crooks from Wall Street to lobbyists to greedy insurance companies cheating people and the military-industrial-complex bankrupting our nation with wars without end (none of which they ever win - as our own generals have said, pleading for a non-military directive and assistance ...which the State Dept continually fails to provide to caught up in providing cover for the CIA operatives working through its non-producing bureaucracy).
The U.S. State Dept should recruit faith based ministers and rabbis to spearhead humanitarian and educational initiatives in terrorist infested nations to reform murderous ideologies and mindsets that have for decades prevailed and gone without intelligent confrontation and discourse. In so doing they can simultaneously teach that God is not a killer, but rather a lover and life-giver. This would do far more for peace in the world than dropping more bombs and sending in more troops. Simultaneously it would save the United States trillions of dollars we don't have, nor should be going in debt for in the first place.
You have much to do Mr. President, but you need to pull back from overseas (with the exception of a needy Haiti) and focus / direct our national budget toward that which concerns us at home.
If the FDA wont' do it's job - shut it down to save us several hundred million more dollars and at least remove the facade of protecting the people so the consumer can become more alert before blindly consuming toxic and poisonous food.
We have terrorists at home, within our borders, supposedly serving the American people but in the pocket of corporate crooks.
What will you do about it Mr. President?

USAA Insurance Claims They Lost $451 million in Florida in 2009 and Must Raise My Premiums Monthly Nearly $50
True or false? An insurance company at the caliber of USAA losing money in Florida and continuing to do business in Florida? I seriously doubt they lost money, especially when they are trying to saddle another $50 a month in insurance premiums on me for covering my car, house and personal property.

Emotionally Unavailable Men - Solution for Men Who Won't Open Up
Emotionally unavailable men perplex and pain women throughout the earth. Beyond the allure of dating, women deeply and desperately want men to open up and be transparent with them.
Yet men often feel obligated to maintain the illusion of masculinity, which they sadly sometimes perceive to be a non-problematic life with an all-together front.
Ironically, what women often most want is a well-put-together man who also is not afraid to show and share his emotions.
Meanwhile men continue to cover up and conceal their emotions.
What is the answer? Oil for the tinman.

Healthcare Speaker: Economics of Healthcare Speaker for Students and Adults
Warm greetings from sunny Florida!
I commend you for endeavoring to bring in an unbiased speaker and voice to discuss the economics of health care.
As someone who reads the Economist magazine and earned A's in micro and macro-economics in college, I believe the Bible which itself says "money answers all things" (Ecclesiastes 10:19). Truly there often is an economic motivation, at the very least mixed-motivation in many actions led by Washington and Wall Street.
As a former 12 grade teacher of ESOL to multi-racial students and a worldwide motivational speaker for colleges - it would be a joy to speak to your class.
I voted for both Pres. George W Bush and Pres. Obama, but disagreed with both for bailing out Wall Street banks and firms who mishandled citizens' and taxpayers' dollars. Truth be told, there is far more corporate welfare in America than welfare for the homeless and struggling families.
Since neither my parents, nor my wife and I have health insurance - I feel something needs to be done in the United States to reform health care. My Canadian wife gets free medical care for life back home, but in the U.S. we prefer waging war without end and spending our money in foreign theaters of war.
Given your appreciation for a "lighter side" presentation, my humor and fun approach makes education entertaining and enlivens any discussion.
Here are a few fun videos of me in India, New York, PA and Washington DC speaking.

Substance Abuse Prevention Speaker and Drunk Driving Victim Speaker
I grew up the son of an alcoholic and drug addict, who was either in one of four places: the bar getting drunk, jail for doing something stupid, an ER for drug overdose, or a mental ward for psychological evaluation.
My younger brother from my stepmom and dad ironically also battled substance abuse for 10 years which involved imprisonment.
To this day I don't drink, neither smoke, nor do I use drugs....having grown up with such drama all my life.
Sadly my U.S. Army Lt. Colonel grandfather (paternal) who raised me in the absence of my mother.....he was a functioning drunk, sneeking vodka bottles in his car and at 83 y/o when drinking vodka at 11:30am fell and hit his head at a convenience store, suffered a stroke thereafter within 24 hours and was bed ridden for two months before dying.
It was a sad way to go for such a loved man by his church, family and community.
Hence I am a heartfelt drunk-driving prevention speaker and substance abuse prevention speaker.

Leadership Speaker Success Secrets - Not to Do Lists
"A great company is more likely to die of indigestion from too many opportunities than experience starvation from too little." Hewlitt Packard
To summarize, success is determined more by what you say NO to than by what you say YES to.
Focus and build on your strengths. Delegate and find help to attend to your weaknesses and that which you are less passionate about ...the things not paramount in relation to your purpose and highest and best use of time.
Fight for your focus and go forward without distraction, neither be seduced by fatal attractions!

Desicated Liver and Protein Powders - Can Anyone Help?
Can anyone recommend a chemical free protein powder with a fully loaded amino acid chain for muscular recovery and a desicated liver formula as well with less chemicals and harmful substances?
http://www.healingfoodreference.com/dessicated_liver.html which I thought was a great product (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dhpc&field-keywords=desicatted+liver) until my wife told me the Uni-Liver I was taking http://www.vitacost.com/Universal-Nutrition-Uni-Liver-500#IngredientFacts has these harmful substances:
L-Phenylalanine
L-Cystine
Glutamate acid
Aspartac acid
The lady at the health food store agreed with me, but said these come with the amino acid complex in every protien essentially and that they are unavoidable.
The book Excitotoxins however says many of these substances by themselves as food additives should be avoided.
How about by themselves in an organic Argentine liver formula? Is there a desiccated liver formula you recommend?
How about a protein powder? I was using American Whey until my wife showed me it has Ace-K (an excitotoxin shown to cause cancer in lab tests on animals, brain tumors, etc.) so I immediately stopped using.
Now my energy levels are lower and my muscles don't repair after workouts as quick, while I sort through which protein powder and desiccated liver formula to use???
Cam you or anyone help?

One thing I learned about rescue relief work from serving at ground zero during 9-11 and the tsunami epicenter in Indonesia where 200,000 people died... the people most in need sometimes don't always get the support donated because the big NGO's and gov't figureheads hold the cash and don't always freely disburse.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ui7ZxymxGU8 tsunami epicenter Indonesia video
I have been to Haiti before and am aware of their struggles governmentally, societally, infrastructurally, educationally, politically and religiously. Nevertheless I believe God will work miracles to help, heal, comfort and care for the suffering throughout Haiti.
Together we can do much if we come together to help Haiti.

OUC Orlando Utilities Commission Website Problems to Increase Profits, Late Payments and Past Due Charges
OUC Orlando Utilities Commission has purposefully for years made their website difficult to delay consumers in route to making their payments in a timely fashion.
Recently after I had just finally gotten used to navigating through OUC's awful website, they changed it so now consumers have to click through several screens to locate their account records, charges and (as if that is not enough already) OUC then makes you click on another link to make a payment.
Although the consumer's account number had already been retrieved upon logging into the OUC website, Orlando Utilities Commission thought when it is time to pay that their website should direct consumers to a few more pages to delay the process.
Then to further frustrate consumers OUC makes it so on the final pre-payment page consumers again have to put their account number in (beyond the username and password that previously seconds earlier retrieved the numerical account number).
So if consumers can remember the OUC numerical account number, they then have to type it in (as you cannot copy and paste it from the previous page - another OUC web design trick) the payment page before OUC allows consumers to pay.
As a result of all OUC's website nonsense I was late a month making a payment and OUC charged me a
Past due amount of $3.41 which they greedily charge interest on monthly to increase accordingly if you resist paying it.
OUC Orlando Utilities Commission's website is designed to delay consumer payments, cause late payments to occur and increase their revenue (in my opinion).

Growing in God's Grace Beyond Forgiveness, Guilt and Regrets
The two undeniable signs of a Christian is someone who is giving and forgiving. Yet many have a hard time receiving God's grace to forgive themselves and forget the past. The apostle Paul said "This one thing I do, forgetting those things that are behind and reaching forth unto those things that are in front of and before me" (Philippians 3:13).
Growing in God's grace means we get what is behind us mentally and emotionally behind us, discarding and dropping old baggage and weights within.
We who believe and receive Christ are now under His atoning and cleansing blood, being free to live above the guilt and regrets of the past to persevere onward into divine purposes and eternal fruitfulness that lasts!
Like your butt, your past is behind you and your eyes are in front of you. Now go forward and get busy working on your future.
It's hard to go forward when you are bound to a memory and continually looking in the rear view mirror.
Lift up your eyes for new horizons in God.
Receive God's unconditional love and forgiveness to forgive yourself and move beyond your past to treasure your present and pursue your future.
Blessings and breakthroughs!

Feng Shui Speaker for Assisted Living Homes, Health and Peace of Mind
Being a former fitness trainer and having cared for my grandparents in their old age, along with my extensive years of living in Asia and now being married to an interior designer, I have the perfect mix of life experiences to speak on incorporating Feng Shui into an assisted living environment.
I also worked in England at a nursing home serving the elderly giving me a great understanding of assisted living homes.
Aesthetics undoubtedly do help people feel comfortable, at peace and at home (or conversely can hinder someone's ability to enjoy their residence).

Student Leader Speaker to Empower Student Leaders of All Ages to Lead and Succeed
Warm greetings from sunny Florida!
I salute you for investing in and empowering your student leaders, the future of tomorrow for our nation!
As a worldwide speaker to student leaders who has delivered thousands of presentations in 57 countries and 6 continents, it would be a joy and honor to inspire, entertain and empower your juniors and seniors desirous of living their dreams and taking their lives to the next level.
As a former high-school English teacher to seniors and juniors, I personally and intimately am acquainted with and understand the challenges of high-schoolers. Moreover as a frequently requested college and university motivational speaker, I often am called upon to speak to incoming college freshman and student leaders at the University level.
Here below are some speaking presentations given in North America and India.
http://paulfdavis.com/speaker-for-kids
I am also the author of "Teacher Success and Survival Secrets" and "Academic Success for Better Grades" which gives me a tremendous insight into the hearts and minds of educators and students alike.
As my stepmother was an educator for 31 years I deeply understand the flaws of the educational system and therefore have devoted myself to motivation and inspiration, something I see frequently lacking within the public school system.
For this reason I give myself wholeheartedly to speak to youth throughout the world, many of whom come from broken homes and troubled families. I in fact am the son of a drug addict and alcoholic (my mother who predeceased my grandparents who lovingly raised me in her absence until my father and stepmother took me in middle-school). I therefore understand trouble on the homefront and the immense challenges youth face beyond the school classroom.
Nevertheless as I overcame such hardships to excel athletically and academically, graduating Cum Laude with honors from UCF earning my bachelors degree at the age of 20; I believe with the right motivation, inspiration and goal setting youth can transcend their struggles and live their dreams shining as beacons of light to their generation.
This being said, if your heart is burning within upon reading these words than I am the ideal speaker for your event.

Serving and celebrating your student leaders success!

Dealing with Difficult People Speaker - Dealing with Lazy Women, Women Issues Speaker
Unfortunately not every woman these days likes to work. Even worse, the women who work the least often complain the most.
North America and its media have mesmerized women to think they are entitled to everything under the sun just because they have some outward beauty and are physically desirable.
I say on the contrary! Outward beauty quickly fades, after which the picture - the inner character (or the lack thereof) only remains.
The Bible says, "If a man does not work, neither shall he eat." Therefore women who don't work, have no right to complain.
Women who compare their domestic situation to other couples wherein the husband is the sole breadwinner and provider are usually lazy and subtly saying, "I don't want to work. Provide for me so I can be a princess."
My cousin who is an Army Ranger and officer in the military said an older officer wisely advised him when he was young, "When you are ready to marry, choose a woman who has a good education and good job." He did so and says, "It works like a charm."
Undoubtedly finances are often the number one thing couples fight over.
I firmly believe if a woman is not about to give birth or nursing newborns, she should have a job and be working. Otherwise she can become a busybody, snob or get involved in things she should not. Idle time is the devil's playground. More importantly women need to have a purpose, something to live for and should contribute and give back through working.
Modern day women who are consumers and complainers, but not produces concern me. Not good character for children growing up to see.
My stepmother taught school for 31 years and was a good role model at home and in society. My cousins' wives all work good jobs.
We all (men and women) should be no different and need to be working. I advise all men who have wives who refuse to work to have separate bank accounts.
If a woman is unruly, rebellious and refuses to listen to you... then use some ambassadors (George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Andrew Jackson - faces on American currency).
Remove a lazy woman's name from your credit cards (even if she is your wife) and make her get a job.
God help us all to be diligent and be fruit with our lives.

Father and Son Speaker to Heal Hearts, Strengthen Bonds and Families
Warm greetings from sunny Florida!
I salute you in your efforts to serve and enrich fathers and sons in your community.
As a worldwide professional speaker who has entertained and inspired thousands of audiences in 57 countries and 6 continents, I would be honored to motivate and impart self-confidence to your fathers and sons with humor.
I was closely raised by my father and grandfather (a retired Lt. Colonel from the U.S. Army). My dad taught me how to play baseball, the sport in which I excelled. I now also surf and am a former fitness trainer still body building regularly (naturally without steroids).
I usually receive $2,500 per speaking engagement and travel expenses. Yet I do sometimes work with groups at a lower rate in return for block bookings ...in which they provide me multiple speaking invitations in their area at other churches, colleges, universities, schools, youth groups, women's groups, gov't depts, civic groups, etc.
Any free publicity and help videotaping the event you can provide for the event would also be something of value to warrant a small fee reduction for speaker services.
My bio, website and a few videos are below.
Strengthening the father and son bond, healing hearts and empowering families is my heart's desire.
Serving and celebrating your success!

Bally Total Fitness, Bally Total Health Club Failure - Bankruptcy, Filthy, Unclean and Unprofessional
Bally Total Fitness Health Clubs are filthy, unsanitary, unhygienic, a breeding ground for sickness and disease and the corporate offices running the company are unprofessional.
As a lifetime member (with 2 memberships) Bally Total Fitness never responded to my phone calls (telling me to write), nor my written complaints seeking a refund after they shut down two clubs in the Orlando metro area.
My complaint is below which Bally's to date has not replied to.
The United States Surgeon General should close Bally Total Fitness health clubs because there is nothing healthy about them!
The cardio machines are rusty, creeky, not balanced, falling apart. The gyms are never cleaned adequately. The clubs are a breeding ground for germs, disease and illness.
And corporate only pockets the money of new incoming members without refurbishing equipment or cleaning the gyms. The carpets in the aerobics room are filthy and need to be replaced. Meanwhile Bally's closes gyms without forewarning, keeps the money and carries on while the consumer suffers and jeopardizes their health.
My wife and I got eye staff infections using Bally's health club.
The two Orlando managers who used to work for Bally's have since gone to 24 Hour Fitness and Lifestyle Fitness wisely abandoning this sinking ship.
All wise consumers will stop using Bally's asap!

Bally Total Fitness
PO Box 1080
Norwalk, CA 90651
Dear Bally Total Fitness,
As a lifetime premier plus member of Bally’s (0020110045000 and 0020110045109), my wife and I have been greatly disappointed by your health clubs.
This year you closed without forewarning your health clubs in Altamonte Springs and Casselberry within the Orlando Metro area.
Beyond the closing of these local health clubs, other Bally’s health clubs across the country have also been closed. Obviously the value of a lifetime premier plus membership at Bally’s has greatly and significantly decreased as a result of your clubs being closed.
As a world traveling professional speaker and author, I personally chose Bally’s for myself and my wife because of the numerous locations throughout North America where I could exercise when traveling and away from home.
However your closing many health clubs has substantially reduced the value of my membership. Moreover the local health club on Semoran Blvd in Orlando closest to my home is so filthy that I and my wife (we both work from home) both got staff infections in our eyes and incurred medical bills visiting an optometrist and $150 for the antibiotic / steroid eye drops.
I therefore want a full refund for my and my wife’s Bally memberships immediately or I will file a health complaint with the government (locally and in the State of Florida) for poor sanitation in your health clubs. Your health clubs in my area are rarely cleaned, never require members to use towels when working out and the sauna, pools and bathrooms are worse than many third-world countries I have traveled to.
Above and beyond this, as a consumer advocate and former fitness trainer (24 Hour Fitness – California) I have seen countless pieces of equipment in Bally’s health clubs that are broken and dangerous still on the gym floor, which could cause injuries to health club members.
As a worldwide speaker, consumer advocate and videographer if I am not promptly refunded for my wife and my memberships in full for what we paid upon purchase (along with the annual CPI consumer price index upward adjustments for inflation), I will file complaints with my State senator, congressman, governor, governmental sanitation and the federal surgeon general concerning your health violations endangering the general public.
Most damaging however will be the YouTube videos I shall produce with other disgruntled Bally’s members and post across the internet as I travel throughout N. America and document the sad state of Bally’s Health Clubs and the risk to the consumer using your facilities.
Thankfully after nearly a year you finally repaired some damaged equipment (particularly the lower back extension, which was without a foot pad) at the Semoran Blvd. Health Club the last time I was in there.
If you would like to resolve this matter swiftly and peaceably, then kindly fulfill one of two options:
1. Send me a check for the purchase price of the two memberships I bought with Bally’s (in addition to the upward adjustment of the CPI to ensure the present value of the purchased memberships).
2. An alternative option would be to renew our annual memberships for free this year in lieu of all the health and sanitation violations, poorly maintained equipment and shutting of your gyms last year greatly diminishing the value of our memberships.
I will give you 5 business days to expedite a check to me for the two memberships or renew our annual memberships at no charge to make amends for the sad state of affairs at Bally’s this year.

Stepping into Greatness - Being Prepared for the Unexpected and Delivering Under Pressure
When Heisman trophy candidate and NFL bound quarterback Colt McCoy was injured in the opening drive of play, true freshman quarterback Garrett Gilbert was suddenly thrust into the leadership role during the College Championship Football Game.
After a few shake-ups and mishaps early on, Gilbert got his composure and skillfully delivered two touchdowns with wide-receiver Jordan Shipley to make it happen for the Texas Longhorns coming within three points trailing 21-24 to #1 ranked Alabama.
To step into greatness we must be sufficiently prepared for opportunities and when they arrive, believe in ourselves and boldly go for it without fear or hesitation.
Although the Texas Longhorns lost their first string quarterback Colt McCoy and the national championship to the University of Alabama, they gained a new quarterback in Garrett Gilbert (who by the way led his high-school team to two state championships) who now has experience playing in big games.
When you learn how to play with pain and perform under pressure, you too can be ready to step into greatness!

Sorority Sisters Conflict Resolution for College Students in a Sorority but Struggling as Sisters
Conflict always occurs when you live with someone. We should expect nothing less from sorority sisters in college. Yet as we mature and enter college, the YOU in youth must gradually begin to die and disappear so we can better blend and become one with a greater cause and endeavor in love to serve one another.
Sorority sisters conflict & dispute resolution secrets. Resolve conflict with sorority sisters at your sorority house before things escalate and something worse happens. Conquer conflicts and reconcile with sorority sisters to ensure sorority success on your college campus.
Do we have to go to court over everything nowadays? Do we not have brains to work things out ourselves? Must we hold grudges for a lifetime? Isn't there a better way?
Going to court is becoming increasingly costly and often futile. Parties and individuals in conflict are therefore turning to alternative methods of dispute resolution - mediation and arbitration being two options.
Sorority sisters cultivating meaningful bonds and a college association through whom to network into their careers after graduation must learn how to communicate, work together, and move from confrontation to cooperation.
Here are some Secrets for Conflict Dispute Resolution for Sorority Sisters to Successfully Peace within and throughout their College Campus:
1. Consider conflict an opportunity not a curse
Conflict is a character building and interpersonal communications improvement opportunity revealing information to you en route to self-awareness. We all have blind spots, preconceived ideas, personal peculiarities and tendencies that can make us hard to deal with at times. Being able to identify other character types and communication styles is beneficial for sorority sisters, though it may not always be easy to endure at first.
2. Learn to respond to conflict naturally and with openness keeping your ears and heart open to receive.
In so doing you will disarm the aggressor and show yourself to be a reasonable human being. To do otherwise will only further antagonize the angered party and increase aggression and thereby erect of walls between you.
Sometimes as sorority sisters listen and ask for more information as to the true source of the conflict, sisters will find perhaps that what seemed to be the initial problem was merely superficial as they dig deeper into the real underlying problem eating at the sister(s). In such situations conflict becomes a learning experience for all of the sisters within the sorority, as well as sorority advisors.
3. Respect and don't reject people regardless of your disagreement
Separate the person from the behavior. Remember we all come from different backgrounds, upbringings and environments that have shaped and molded us to be who we are today. We are all continually changing and evolving. Give sisters grace to grow as they come to a greater level of self-awareness. As you do and sisters discover how gracious you've been to them, they will in turn be gracious and merciful to you in your time of need.
3. Acknowledge and confess any contributory negligence
Conflict always begins within. It is often bred within our own hearts and minds as we prematurely judge, falsely assume, erroneously jump to conclusions, and allow ourselves to become overly invested in our individual interests. Purity of heart and mind is obtained when we examine ourselves first before scrutinizing somebody else. We must judge ourselves first. We commonly however judge ourselves by our intentions and others by their actions. This is to say we don't typically use fair weights, standards and measures when we judge others.
If sorority sisters would be brutally honest with themselves they would find that in every conflict they have somehow contributed to it be through what they have said, done or left unsaid and undone. Neglecting to affirm sisters after work well done is as negligent behavior as them forgetting to get the work done. We all hunger for recognition and praise. Leadership must honor and recognize sisters for their performance. If we don't recognize, someone else will. To avoid sisters departures from the sorority and high turnover, we must honor and acknowledge sisters' heartfelt efforts even when they fall short of perfection or our expectation.
Sometimes in the midst of all our efforts to be increasingly productive and profitable, we are not personable and can be offensive to our sisters. Recognize such times and apologize for being that way. By acknowledging and apologizing for wrong doing sisters leading the sorority are taking responsibility and encouraging everyone all sisters to be responsible. Confession brings freedom. Suddenly you will find many people begin to humble themselves and confess their own faults. It won't be long before everyone is reconciled and bonding again. Rest assured when this happens sorority sister morale and productivity will skyrocket. Where sorority sisters feel well they work well.
4. Step into greatness by overcoming evil with good
Forgive and extend a chance to be reconciled. After World War I the United States proved to be a society with enormous confidence in its achievements and in its future wherewith it mustered the dedication and the resources to strive for a world order in which defeated enemies would be conciliated, stricken allies restored, and adversaries converted. Because the United States took the higher ground endeavoring to reconcile, restore and convert its enemies after defeating them, it is today a world super power.
The stronger you are, the more gentle you can afford to be. Gentleness is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of true strength. When you overcome evil with good, it disarms the wrongdoer to be transformed after which they are more likely to live up to your ideals and level of integrity.
5. Formulate what you want to say and how you will say it
Remember it is not only what you say, but how you say it. The manner and tone by a sister expresses herself will determine the level of receptivity with which she is received. Receiving constructive criticism is never easy, but it can be bearable if the sister giving it is kind, affirming and sincere. Start up soft, affirming the sister's good qualities and your working relationship before proceeding to find fault and correct. Build on strengths and proceed from a place of agreement. Compliment and praise before providing constructive criticism.
6. Value internal security over external security and acceptance
Be confident and congruent with what you say in conflict. Don't waver because of resistance or lack of acceptance. Be true to yourself. Avoid personalizing rejection concerning sorority decisions and objectives. Separate yourself personally from the sorority at large, when necessary to show each sister you genuinely care. Provide a personal pep talk when needed and useful to build a downcast sister feeling rejected.
7. Avoid premature assumptions
Premature and erroneous assumptions dwarf you, hinder employee morale and diminish the company. Don't believe it is so until you have first heard it from the horse's mouth. Avoid gossiping. Get things out in the open and speak face to face respectfully. Remember presumption is the great transgression (Psalm 19:12-13).
Before the days of U.S. President Reagan and Russian President Gorbachev's relationship, inherent ideologies and perceptions kept us apart. Communist ideology was at the heart of Stalin's approach to the world. Stalin regarded the Western capitalist powers as irrevocably hostile. The friction between the Soviet Union and America was therefore not the product of some misunderstanding or faulty communications between Washington and Moscow, but inherent in the Soviet Union's perception of the outside world.
George Kennan, an expert on Russia, examining the philosophical and conceptual framework for Stalin's foreign policy found in Russian rulers fear. At the bottom of the Kremlin's neurotic view of world affairs is the traditional and instinctive Russian sense of insecurity. To this was added, as Russia came into contact with the economically advanced West, a fear of more competent, more powerful, more highly organized societies. But this latter type of insecurity was one which afflicted Russian rulers rather than Russian people.
8. Speak with positive expectation believing the best
Stating your feelings and desire with positive expectation pulls people to the level of performance you desire. For example, "Sister Sally, you've always done a great job of giving your all in every account. As of late however you seem to not quite be yourself. Is there anything I can do to help? I desire to see you succeed and be your personal best. Know I am fully committed to you as you are to this company." Affirming a sister and your expectations of their success will endear a sister to you and cause them to want to live up to the sorority's wishes.
You get what you expect. Henry Kissinger, in his Diplomacy book, recognized the part faith played in the United States rise to becoming a global power. President Truman proclaimed his doctrine as "the policy of the United States to support free peoples who are resisting attempted subjugation by armed minorities or by outside pressures." The Truman Doctrine marked a watershed because once America had thrown down the moral gauntlet, the kind of Realpolitik Stalin understood best would be forever at an end.
Anchored to a platform of social and economic reform, the United States announced that it would oppose not only any government but any organization that impeded the process of European recovery.
Only a country as idealistic, as pioneering, and as relatively inexperienced as the United States could have advanced a plan for global economic recovery based solely on its own resources. ...Great enterprises are often driven by a touch of naivete.
9. Practice active listening, offering reflections
Listen attentively and reflect back what you are hearing the person saying. Reiterate and seek to clarify that you are hearing correctly. By doing so, you give a sister an opportunity to double her feedback to you and accurately convey both her thoughts and feelings. Provide inclusive summaries stating your take on what a sister is saying (according to your interpretation) after you've fully heard them.
Follow the emotional heat alongside the content being mentioned. Intense emotional tones accompany the most important content clueing you in on where you need to place additional emphasis and attention. Upon locating the emotional heat, ask for more information and investigate further while proceeding with sensitivity.
Proactive listening is accompanied with nonverbal cues and body language that affirm your genuine interest. For example, you could lean forward attentively. Avoid folding your arms as if to display disinterest or disagreement. Nodding your head also shows a sister you are genuinely absorbing and taking in all that is being said by her. This is not to say you have to necessarily agree with what you are hearing, but by listening you can affirm the person. Highlight the choice points you heard made throughout the conversation and welcome any suggestions to alleviate the conflict. This will often open up a sister to likewise hear from you in regard to the matter.
10. Prefer and encourage cooperation and collaboration over competition
AOL's negotiator, David Colburn, showed what can be done when he chose not to vilify the competition. I first studied this landmark case prepared by Professor James Sebenius with the author while studying Strategic Negotiation and Dealmaking at Harvard Business School.
AOL"s relationship with Microsoft was overwhelmingly hostile during the browser wars. In the early 1990's, Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft, had been the single largest shareholder in AOL with a 29% stake. Allen wanted to take over AOL but was stopped in his tracks by Steve Case CEO of AOL. At the time, Bill Gates turned up the heat on Steve Case, telling him: "I can buy 20% of you or I can buy all of you. Or I can go into this business myself and bury you." Two months later Microsoft unveiled MSN and became AOL's most formidable direct competitor. Gates was demonized within AOL and a hostile relationship developed between the companies.
The media and information technology journalists had dubbed AOL the Internet for slow learners. Steve Case desperately wanted to license the Navigator browser because a link to Netscape would gild AOL's tarnished technological image.
AOL's lead negotiator, David Colburn, who had only joined the firm in September 1995, was not hostile toward Microsoft. Colburn therefore was able to look for the better deal for AOL and assess what the market had to meet AOL's needs. As it turned out Colburn brilliantly did some double dealmaking with both Netscape and Microsoft. AOL would pay Netscape a significant per copy fee to license Navigator which would become the "preferred" browser for AOL subscribers under a non-exclusive agreement. In return, AOL would have a prominent presence on the Netscape website and both companies would engage in cross-promotional activities. That day AOL stock rose 10%.
The very evening AOL inked a much bigger deal with Microsoft. AOL would not have to pay Microsoft a penny for Explorer - saving it millions. AOL client software would be bundled with Windows 95 allowing costless distribution to 50 million PC users a year. This free distribution and promotion via Windows represented a marketing coup because, until now, AOL had had to spend $40-$80 to attract each new subscriber.
MSN suddenly became a casualty of the AOL-Microsoft deal. Demonstrating daring strategic flexibility, Gates sacrificed much of his firm's investment in MSN to fight Netscape's threat to Microsoft's core assets. The biggest win for Microsoft was that Explorer would be the virtually exclusive "default" browser for AOL's rapidly growing subscriber base. Shutting Netscape out of this large market segment was a triumph not to be underestimated.
Cooperation does not mean an end to competition. As for our differences, we will not do away with them, but we can deal with them more constructively and creatively to build win-win relationships.
Conflict resolution is about facilitating and sustaining daily cooperation. Interpersonal conflict that we encounter every day can seem to be an insurmountable obstacle: attacks and counterattacks, anger and suspicion, ingrained habits of hard bargaining, interests that appear irreconcilable, and efforts to win through intimidation and power plays. Cooperation and collaboration on the other hand can stimulate creativity, increase profitability, lead to profound results and produce lifelong partnerships among sisters in the sorority.
11. Practice diplomacy
Diplomacy is the art of letting someone else have your way. Women are great at this. One grandmother advised her grand-daughter: "Make him run after you until you catch him."
You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Learn how to frame an issue to favor your opponent's objectives and appear most suitable to them. This is how you build win-win relationships and forge partnerships that endure within your sorority.
Make the sisters within your sorority feel it is in their best interest to work with you and that it is their highest privilege to do so. Remind the sisters of how they will benefit from their heartfelt contribution, remembering every sister wants to advance her own interests simultaneously while serving the sorority.
12. Focus on problem solving and welcome outside input
As a sorority sister, you are either part of the problem or part of the solution. Be honestly open to accept influence and consider another sister's position. Reflect such openness in your body language when listening. Albert Einstein said: "It is people who make me seasick-not the sea. But I'm afraid that science is yet to find a solution for this ailment." Solutions come when we actively pursue them together rather than fight one another. We all have blind spots and different perspectives. When we work together we all see more clearly and become more powerful. None of us are as strong as all of us.
13. Remember in conflict you can win a battle and lose the war.
Albert Einstein said: "As long as there will be man, there will be wars."
War is becoming an increasingly expensive and inconclusive way of handling acute conflicts. In an age of deadly weaponry, even bitter enemies must often learn to work together in order to survive.
Henry Kissinger in his book Diplomacy cites the aftermath of World War I. Once war had been declared, and as the streets of European capitals filled with cheering throngs, the conflict ceased being a conflict of chancelleries and turned into a struggle of the masses. After the first two years of the war, each side was stating terms incompatible with any notion of equilibrium.
What proved beyond everyone's imagination was that both sides would win and lost at the same time: that Germany would defeat Russia and seriously weaken both France and England; but that, in the end, the Western Allies, with America's indispensable assistance, would emerge as the victors. The aftermath of World War I was social upheaval, the enemy being strengthened geopolitically, ideological conflict, countless young men's lives sacrificed and another world war.
14. Celebrate diversity and authenticity - diversity in thought, expression, professionalism, problem solving, interpersonal communication and way of life
Einstein said further: "Common convictions and aims, similar interests, will in every society produce groups that, in a certain sense, act as units. There will always be friction between such groups-the same sort of aversion and rivalry that exists between individuals.... In my opinion, uniformity in a population would not be desirable, even if it were attainable."
15. Cultivate a culture of peace and preferring one another
By cultivating a culture of peace, patience, and tolerance for every sister will be the result. Where there is patience, unconditional love and acceptance is not far behind. Such an environment makes sisters feel safe, thrive, come alive and be increasingly creative and productive for the good of the sorority.
By preferring one another over ourselves, we give way to a spirit of generosity and brotherhood which causes a team mentality to arise. Less of me more of we. When we think like this the organization's well being as a whole is thought of before that of the individual. Ask not what your sorority can do for you, ask what you can do for your sorority. Win-win relationships and interactions are then forged which bring about mutually inclusive benefits for all.
16. Maintain a sense of humor and unconditional acceptance
As successful marriages show us, you don't have to always resolve your disagreements and conflicts to thrive. When you welcome people into your world they bring their peculiarities and problems along with them. Where there are no oxen the stall is, but much increase comes by the strength of the ox. Sometimes you have to accept people as they are, realizing they may never change.
Matters of personal preference do not need to take preeminence in your working relationship. As the old adage goes there are many ways to skin a cat. Each of us prioritize differently. Keep things in their proper place and don't unnecessarily take offense at another's approach, manner of reasoning or way of logically (or illogically) processing a situation. Life is to be lived and enjoyed. Employ your sense of humor and unconditional acceptance of others and you will get far greater results and work productivity from your staff at the end of the day. Sisters want to be acknowledged as individuals apart from their performance. Problems are inevitable. Celebrate and empower sisters despite their peculiarities and occasional mistakes. As you do and show yourself forgiving, you will see sisters go the extra mile for you to solve the sorority's problems.
Don't take yourself too seriously. Have a good laugh to diffuse the tension, disarm people and reunite with all involved.
17. Be merciful
Anyone can hold a grudge. It takes a quality person to rise above the offense, extend mercy and overlook it. Practice the art of pardoning and refuse to hold past resentments. Forgive and live!
Bitterness is a heavy burden that eats away at everyone involve and further spreads to infest all around you. It's not worth carrying or perpetuating. As Shakespeare acknowledged mercy is twice blessed. It blesses the sister that gives it and the recipient that takes it.
If you enjoyed and learned something from this article, then do your sorority sisters a favor by inviting Paul to speak and deliver this powerful message in a fun, humorous and playful manner to transcend your sorority's current struggles, peaceably resolve conflict and be empowered for bigger and better things!

Spiritual Teacher - Salvation in Christ, Not Church But The Fullness of Christ is Connected to the Church
"Let them [some dead churches don't let you:] shout for joy and be glad that favor God's righteous cause! Let them say continually, 'The Lord be magnified" which takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants." (Psalm 35:27) They who put their trust in God "rejoice" and "shout for joy" (Psalm 5:11), but they who trust in their denominational affiliation wander out of the way of understanding and remain in the congregation of the dead (Proverbs 21:1).
No church can save you, because no church died for you! Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ the risen Savior and Lord of all flesh and mankind.
Nevertheless God has put "spiritual houses" in the earth whereby you might grow relationally, socially (among healthy, happy and holy people) and spiritually as we together in humility draw near to God and serve one another for God's glory.
They who love God, enjoy His house as well. Yet God's mature children remember that Christ alone is their resting place and the keeper of their souls. Aligning with a denomination is often a distraction if your church affiliation puts your worship and service to Christ in the backseat or a straitjacket to conform to their dictates and agenda.
Yet a good local church will enable you to wholeheartedly connect with the Father and God's family, growing in Christ and grace to serve simultaneously.
Jesus said, "I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18). We therefore must know Christ by the Spirit (Ephesians 2:18; Romans 8:9) and join ourselves with people of like precious faith, heart, mind and vision to together go forward.
Truly none of us are as strong as all of us and when we die to "I" and decrease personally, Christ can shine and flow forth through us powerfully revealing the glory of the resurrection in and through us.
Truly they who are "planted in the house of the Lord, shall flourish in the courts of their God" (Psalm 92:13).
David a man after God's own heart declared: "But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God's unfailing love for ever and ever." (Psalm 52:8)
Psalm 1:3 - And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
Spiritual authority brings not just accountability, but added discernment, divine direction, revelation, insight and spiritual momentum to propel you forward in your divine purpose. Therefore the way we say Pastors and the local church must change so we can receive the blessing of having spiritual oversight and being fathered so as to bring us into the fullness of the blessing of Christ as we connect with one another - Christ's body on earth.
God loves us all unconditionally, but His blessings are conditional upon our obedience.
Holy Spirit melt our hearts and give a willingness and desire to joyfully worship, obey and serve the Lord of life so we can live in God's glory, experience His goodness and shine bright in the earth to lead others out of darkness and be living witnesses of the power of the resurrection.
Thank God for Pastors who are undoubtedly the most mature, steadfast, unshakeable and unmoveable ministers within Christ's body ...daily and weekly persevering, going forward, loving the unlovely, praying and giving selflessly and serving tirelessly.
Honor, love, pray for and bless your Pastor, but always remember Jesus is the Chief Shepherd of your soul.

Casting Out Devils - Demonology in the 21st Century
Enjoying Jesus speaking to His disciples: "Have I not chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?" (John 6:70) Then the Jewish people accuse Jesus of having a devil (John 7:20). But many in laughable churches today don't even believe in devils.
Tell that to the Hindu woman with the red dot on her forehead in New Delhi, India who I laid hands on and prayed for saying, "Come out in Jesus Name!" (She didn't speak any English so I didn't have to worry about offending her when she asked me to pray for her. Besides if a person does not have the Spirit of Christ, they got another spirit in them - Romans 8:9).
So this Hindu lady fell to the ground and started slithering (well, not her, but the devil in her) like a snake. I wish I had my video camera with me in those days. Nevertheless the power of Jesus Christ set the woman free and moved so powerfully he son and uncle were all also healed, saved and delivered in the same meeting!!!
As for me I like to see the Holy Spirit move in power and use me to cast out devils in Jesus Name! (Luke 10:17-20; Matthew 12:28) Part of doing good is break demon power oppressing precious people (Acts 10:38).
Thank God for the light of His Word and power of His Spirit to get the job done! (Mark 16:20)
To God be the glory!

Delta Airlines Complaints, Poor Customer Service and Neglect - Fly Southwest for Better Service
No reply from Delta in regard to letter written to Delta Customer Relations dated October 30, 2009. Southwest is now my favorite airline in the United States.
Since merging with Northwest customer service at Delta has really gone down.
October 30, 2009
Delta Customer Relations
PO Box 20980
Dept. 980
Atlanta, GA 30320-2980
Dear Delta,
I am writing to submit a request for a refund of my 30,000 miles to my Delta account.
Upon making the reservation from Orlando to Rome, I was given a locator number of QPPNC9 and told I would have a few days to make arrangements in Italy and then purchase the ticket paying 60,000 miles, along with the necessary taxes and airport fees.
However upon calling back to make the reservation a different Delta representative refused to issue the ticket under QPPNC9 and instead created a new reference number of RRR9KP (ticket 006-2315527686) charging me 90,000 miles along with the associated taxes and fees.
Not feeling good and right about this, I phoned Delta and was advised to write a letter to the Customer Relations department at Delta to request refund of my 30,000 miles overcharged me for the flight.
To add insult to injury, when I bought the $25 travel insurance through Delta.com (Access America) and sent them the details and expenses incurred as a result of having to stay over in New York on October 23rd, because of Delta rerouting our plane to Newfoundland, Canada (causing me to miss my JFK-Orlando connection), Access America claims they haven’t yet scanned my documents which I mailed on Monday morning October 26th requesting a reimbursement for $235.25.
After submitting my documents to Access America three times, they finally sent me a check for $150 (not the full amount) for which $85.25 still needs to be reimbursed.
Delta is also liable for the $85.25 because after they landed in Newfoundland, Canada and dropped off the person with a medical emergency... Delta took an additional four hours removing luggage that was entirely unnecessary delaying me and causing me to miss my connection.
Delta may try to say they needed to remove the luggage for security reasons, but this is not true because had their been a security issue (which there was not) the luggage never would have made it on the plane to begin with.
Delta misplaces luggage all the time and later sends it to the passenger, which could (and should) have been done in this instance rather than creating additional inconveniences and emergencies for other passengers because of Delta's negligence.
I have for many years been a loyal and faithful customer of Delta, always telling my friends and family that Delta is the best air carrier in the United States. Please don’t disappoint me and cause me to look elsewhere in the future for my air travel needs.
My father in law claims Southwest is better, but I am hopeful that Delta can resolve this issue and remain my air carrier of choice.
Although I am a consumer advocate producing videos and blogs on airlines, I remain hopeful and expectant this will not be necessary wishing the best for and from Delta.
I look forward to hearing from you to resolve this matter.
Sincerely,
Paul F Davis – Delta frequent flyer
