Florida Gators Game: Fox vs. Brighthouse Battle for Coverage in Florida to Show Tim Tebow's Last College Game

Orlando attorney John Morgan (a University of Florida alumni) is determined that Florida Gator fans should see the Sugar Bowl on Bright House Networks. He’s going to court about it.

A fee fight between the cable provider and Fox, which will show the Sugar Bowl on Friday, could mean that Bright House viewers won’t see the game.

Morgan’s take on what’s happening? “It’s greed. It’s unadulterated greed, and they’ve taken Florida fans hostage for money,” he said. “This game comes and in three hours, it’s over. By not showing it, you’ve caused irreparable harm. ‘Idol’ you can show two weeks from now. For Gator fans and sports fans, this game is particularly significant. The greatest college player is playing his last game,” Morgan said, citing Tim Tebow.

Hal Boedeker at the Orlando Sentinel reported on the story in full.
