Mental Illness Speaker: Mental Health Speaker on Mental Illness and Family Support

Warm greetings from sunny Florida!

As an author and worldwide speaker who has inspired audiences in 57 countries and 6 continents, I can speak personally, experientially and powerful on the stigma of mental health in America.

The son a drug addict and alcoholic mother who was deemed "mentally ill" and "schizophrenic" as a result of excessive substance abuse, I suffered immensely as a child growing up witnessing such behavior and the sad stereotypes by which those in need are falsely labeled.

During the Reagan era, I saw my U.S. Army retired Lt. Colonel grandfather (who voted Republican) suffer along with my maternal grandmother when laws were changed concerning treating the mentally ill. Hence my mother was released into the streets to be homeless and in a worse situation.

Yet I still don't believe medication is the problem for mental illness.

Today a licensed minister, life coach, NLP expert, author and motivational speaker I deal with and tackle these issues head on.

Among the 18 books I've authored are:

- Empowering & Liberating Women

- United States of Arrogance

- Breakthrough for a Broken Heart

- Healthy Relationships

....and many more!

Wishing you continued success!
